The space

The Little Harbor House offers comfortable gathering spaces, two main-floor bedrooms, a full bathroom and laundry, an updated kitchen, and a charming half-story loft with two additional sleeping areas.

The formal parlor doubles as a library and den, with a comfortable sofa and desk, giving you a quiet place to read, work, or simply enjoy the character of the home. The living room offers a cozy sofa and TV area, while the dining room is made for shared meals, games, laughter, and lingering conversations.

The kitchen, full bathroom, laundry, and both primary bedrooms are all located on the main floor.

A spiral staircase leads to the cottage's half-story loft, where you'll find a queen bed and a twin sleeping area tucked beneath the roofline.

🌿 The Garden Room

A cheerful, peaceful bedroom with a comfortable queen bed, inspired by the garden and the lush colors of the Pacific Northwest.

These historic bedrooms are cozy in size, so we intentionally chose a larger, more comfortable bed rather than sacrificing sleeping space for more room to walk around.

Wall-mounted reading lights keep the bedside area uncluttered, while a small table beside the bed gives you a convenient place to charge your devices. A small armoire and additional storage provide space for clothing and personal belongings.

Please note: This is a historic home, and the bedrooms are cozy rather than spacious. If you prefer a generous amount of open floor space around your bed, this home may not be the best fit.

🌊 The Harbor Room

The second main-floor bedroom offers another cozy and comfortable place to retreat, with its own cheerful character and thoughtful touches.

Like the Garden Room, it reflects the collected, colorful feeling of The Little Harbor House while giving you a comfortable private space of your own.

Both primary bedrooms are on the main floor, making them convenient for guests who prefer not to use stairs.

🌿 The Little Harbor Loft

Up the charming spiral staircase, tucked into the home's half-story, are two additional sleeping areas.

One has a queen bed and the other has a twin bed, creating a cozy little hideaway for children, teens, or additional guests.

The loft is one of those unexpected features that makes an old house fun. Tucked beneath the roofline, it feels like a little secret space of its own.

Please note: The spiral staircase is narrow and can be cumbersome to navigate. Guests should be comfortable using this type of staircase and consider their own mobility before choosing the loft. We ask that children using the loft be supervised and that young children remain on the main floor.

The full bathroom and laundry are conveniently located on the main floor, along with both primary bedrooms, the kitchen, living room, dining room, and parlor.

Having these essential spaces together on the main floor makes the house especially convenient for longer stays and for guests who prefer not to navigate stairs.

The Little Harbor House has quiet gardens in both the front and back, giving the property a peaceful cottage feeling from the moment you arrive.

The fully fenced backyard offers a private outdoor space to enjoy your morning coffee, sit in the garden, or simply get a little fresh air.

Off-street parking is located at the back of the house. The back entrance provides stair-free access to the main floor, making arrival with luggage or groceries especially convenient and giving guests an alternative to the front entry stairs.

You will have access to the entire home, gardens, backyard, and parking area, with the exception of any locked owner storage areas.

The main floor includes the kitchen, full bathroom, laundry, parlor, living room, dining room, and both primary bedrooms.

The upstairs loft is available to guests who are comfortable using the spiral staircase.

This is a genuine historic home. Part of its charm is its age, character, proportions, and the little quirks that come with a home built in 1901.

The bedrooms are cozy rather than spacious, and we have intentionally prioritized comfortable beds over creating large amounts of open floor space.

The upstairs loft is accessed by a narrow spiral staircase. Please consider your comfort and mobility with stairs before choosing to use the loft. Young children should remain on the main floor unless closely supervised.

The back parking area and entrance provide stair-free access to the main floor, where both primary bedrooms, the bathroom, laundry, kitchen, and main living spaces are located.

This is a neighborhood where you can slow down and notice the details. Historic homes line the streets, gardens peek through fences, and the character of old Everett is still very much part of everyday life.

☆☆ GUEST ACCESS ☆☆

You’ll have private access to The Little Harbor House throughout your stay, giving you a comfortable and peaceful place to settle in and feel at home.

You’ll have access to the entire home, including the formal entry, parlor library/den, living room, dining room, updated kitchen, full bathroom, laundry, and both main-floor bedrooms. The upstairs half-story loft, with its two additional sleeping areas, is also available to guests who are comfortable using the spiral staircase.

The fully fenced backyard, front and back gardens, and outdoor spaces are yours to enjoy. Off-street parking is provided at the back of the home, with a back entrance offering stair-free access to the main floor.

You may come across a locked closet or storage area reserved for the owners or housekeeping. Everything else in the home is prepared and available for your use.

Parking and access instructions will be provided before arrival to make your check-in as smooth and easy as possible.

We offer a warm, unobtrusive hosting style. Kaela and her co-hosts are very responsive through the booking app (Airbnb/VRBO) during regular business hours. If you don’t hear back quickly, you’re welcome to text us. For urgent issues—especially trouble accessing the home or anything safety-related—please call right away.

We truly appreciate guests who value respect, open communication, and transparency so everyone has a smooth, comfortable stay.

On occasion, you may see landscapers, groundskeeper, and maintenance persons. They will come and go without initiating interactions with guests.

We try to keep maintenance visits down when guests are present but it's not always possible.

We love fur babies, and well-behaved dogs and cats are happily welcome in our home, including for longer and extended stays.

We ask that pets are fully house-trained, well groomed, and respectful of both the home and outdoor spaces. Dogs should have neatly trimmed nails to help protect the hardwood floors, and cats must be litter trained and not prone to scratching or spraying. Pets are welcome to enjoy the yard, but should not be prone to digging or damaging the landscaping.
